Child Safety Standards for HangApp

HangApp is committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for our community in New Haven. Our platform is designed for spontaneous, in-person social connections between adults. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding the endangerment of minors.

1. Age Restrictions & Verification

HangApp is strictly for individuals aged 18 and older. We integrate with Google Play Age Signals and internal verification to prevent minors from accessing the platform. Any account found to be operated by a minor will be permanently banned.

2. Prohibited Content & Behavior

We strictly prohibit any conduct that endangers children, including child exploitation material, grooming behaviors, or any form of harassment directed at individuals under 18.

3. Moderation & Reporting

We employ automated systems and manual review to monitor for safety violations. Users can report concerns via the in-app "Report" button or by emailing our safety team directly.
